  NSW Government COVID-19 JobSaver Grant The COVID-19 JobSaver Grant is now open for applications. Please note, this is different to the Business Grant that opened last   week. FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR LOCKDOWN 2021

  The Prime Minister and NSW Premier yesterday announced a number of support measures being put in place in relation to the NSW lockdowns.     There is still further detail to be provided. As soon as further detail becomes available, we will provide further updates.     From the information available so far, it would appear that these packages will be administered via Service NSW, not the Australian Tax Office, which is a key difference from previous support packages.   Support for INDIVIDUALS COVID-19 Disaster Payment       From week four of a lockdown (next week) in a Commonwealth declared hotspot, the Disaster Payment will increase from $500 to $600 each week if a person has lost 20 hours or more of work a week or $325 to $375 each week if a person has lost between 8 and 20 hours of work.     The Disaster Payment will also become a recurring payment for approved recipients for as long as the Commonwealth declared hotspot and lockdown restrictions remain in place. SUPPORT FROM GOVERNMENT FOR LOCKDOWN

  Support for INDIVIDUALS   COVID-19 disaster payment The COVID-19 disaster payment is available to eligible workers who can’t attend work or who have lost income because of a lockdown and don’t have access to appropriate paid leave entitlements. And, it only applies from the eighth day of lockdown.
